Entrust me the raw oozings
Of your fluttering heart
Buried deep inside,
Let me trace your every pain
With breathless fingers
Of my sighs.
Shower on the waiting world
Your lucent light
And that
winsome gorgeous smile,
While I
swallow your darkness
The unshed
tears
Lurking behind
shuttered eyes
Give me every
bit of your past
Each ache and
agony
And wildly raging
flame,
I’ll gently
hug your fading stars
Until they
collapse
And still love
them all the same.
And when your
glorious nebulas
Spin madly
To birth new
galaxies infinite,
I’ll stand
back and watch you
Glow
mesmerizingly
In the softly
falling twilight.
