Dreams seep
through my sleep
Often
In the silence of the night,
And in my waking moments
They claim
Every other heartbeat
Of mine
For their own…
Lightly, ever so softly,
They brush against my soul
In their boundless flight.
Often
In the silence of the night,
And in my waking moments
They claim
Every other heartbeat
Of mine
For their own…
Lightly, ever so softly,
They brush against my soul
In their boundless flight.
It’s as if
A layer of you lives
Like an over-painting
On every surface
Of my crazily scattered life
Dripping down
With tiny, euphoric splashes
Their gentle plops
Colouring my virtual world
In brushstrokes of rainbow stripes.
When this mellow river
Runs satiated
Wetting the fabric of Me
With rhymes
I never want to be fully awake....
Just devour the bliss
Of this dreamy state
Where I always come alive
EffervescentlyWithin the dark irises
Of your tender laughing eyes!
